Prostheses are complete or partial, are either fixed or removable. Thus, removable prostheses allow a certain mobility of movement, while fixed prostheses are impossible to move. In general, removable dentures are only removed for sleeping and brushing.
Full dentures, commonly called dentures, are used to replace all natural teeth in the upper and / or lower jaw. They stay in place thanks to the suction of the mouth, which means that they are also removable.
A partial denture is a device set up to fill the absence of one or more teeth. The dentist first takes fingerprints, which technicians will need to create the prostheses.
